I followed Bobby Dean MP during parliamentary recess to see how MPs use their free time
What do MPs do during recess? To find out, I tagged along with Bobby Dean, Lib Dem MP for Carshalton and Wallington. Here is ‘the day in the life of an MP’.
This turned out to be a particularly good day to follow Bobby. Diesel had spilled into a river in the constituency, and 4,000 litres of fuel had entered the water. It was big news in London, and BBC London and ITV were there reporting on it – and wanting interviews with Bobby.
